On a recent early-afternoon visit, the restaurant smelled smokey and dirty in the way that only carpet that has needed to be changed for 15 years can. Food was average, and the kitchen messed up an order that had no special requests. I won't be going back.

We hit the gap several times a month. The happy hour menu is varied, and has good prices. The pulled pork sandwich is excellent, the hummus is made on premises and is also excellent. Service is spotty, but we've become regulars and we're greeted by name.

I've only been to Buffalo Gap a couple times for lunch, so no happy hour or drinks for me either time. For those non-imbibers I can say this place makes the finest Arnold Palmer I've ever had.
