For some reason it was slow even when it was dead. For some reason they think people enjoy sitting in the dark. For some reason I got a rum and pepsi instead of a rum and coke. For some reason I don't think I'll be going back.

I cringe every time I go past this place. The DJ's are spinning the most generic pop/hip hop and the drinks aren't anything special. They break plates like no tomorrow and the sound gets old after awhile.

Wine was crappy, maybe would have liked it better if I paid only half price. Cheese plate was about $5, tasted like something that came out of a catbox, and couldn't satisfy the appetite of a duck. Bleah.

God my contacts turned to dust in the downstairs smokehall. Bartenders/waitstaff are surprisingly friendly and quick, and they have a decent range of beers on tap.

Nice service and decent (if that's possible) English food. The back patio is a hidden treasure in the summer.

We went in the middle of the week, so we didn't have to deal with poor service, but the $1 PBR tall boys were a treat, and shuffleboard was a new flavor. Felt like I needed to kick some hipster ass though.
